Mango is high in vitamin B6 and folic acid, vitamins typically found missing with people who suffer from depression. Plus, mangos happy orange hues help wake up and lift your senses. *If you do not happen to have fresh mango available, substitute papaya or pineapple.
Ingredients
1 ripe mango, peeled, seeded, diced
1 tomato, seeded, diced
½ medium sized red onion, finely diced
¼ cup fresh squeezed lime juice
1 jalapeño chili, minced
1 avocado, peeled, seeded, diced
Directions
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in bowl.
2. Stir in diced avocado and season to taste with salt and pepper. (May be made 3 hours ahead. Store in refrigerator until serving. )
